Re: San Dimas vs. Ontario

OK, thats kninda what I thought actually, but I was not sure. A buddy of mine got a CS RR in the same time frame that someone actually could not come up with the cash to pay for and his is actually custom (it has a kill switch and pearl/inlay Jackson logo instead of the standard sticker of the time - which I guess is standard now).

I like San Dimas guitar very much. In my opinion San Dimas is truly golden age. SD quality is awesome. Canada is Canada, nice place

"San Dimas" is merely a buzz word. I've owned both, and my 90's Ontario guitars are much better built instruments in my opinion. (even though a couple of them are SD plated!)

Some people rant about how many charvels were made. There were only 1929 sd rhoads built and another 2799 sd j serial # customs. That must mean they are the ultimate in cool magic mojo facter and are worth more than crapy ontario built guitars.

I tell me another , hah ha. 1992 LTD Rhoads is built very good. In my opinion One of the best ever. This is absolute true. Early San Dimas guitar is incredibly good quality. Play better.
