What about a section in "gallery" with only Original models + specs (no CS models)
Like: Model 1, 1 HB, "strat" tremolo, maple neck, jackson XXX pickup, solid color (White etc...) Hard case etc...
For us to compere with when we are bout to by a guitar...
Include all jackson/charvel models...
That would be awesome for us who don´t have the knowledge about the diff, between Model-1 ws mod 6

A similar thing, even more elaborate, was already tried: The Mother Of All Info Pages. It was so gigantic that maintaining and paying for it caused that they had to take it down.

You told me Tekky, if I'm paraphrasing correctly, the entire cluster of html pages got too cumbersome to maintain, and it grew to be a gigantic thing too, so you took it down.

If my memory failed me, I apologize, I didn't want to offend or upset anyone...

When Fender bought out Jackson, the old MOAIP pages became FMIC's property, and they took down all the old pages so they could rebuild them to match their existing site formatting.
Tekky took the initiative to rebuild a set for the JCF, since early dealings with FMIC were, IIRC, pretty much met with "go away, son, ya bother me", but he can't use the old pages and pics because they're now FMIC property.

At least, that's how I remember the public discussions on the issue.

I did say that the static HTML pages are more cumbersome to maintain, however that had nothing to do with why they were taken down. I don't really know why they were taken down except that in it's current form, it doesn't match the Jackson/Charvel site. (Kevin E's version, the original, appeared on the Jackson/Charvel site before FMIC) After a while I took the task of extracting the data and creating a compact version for use on the JCF.

This statement suggests that we have released the MoAIP here and we had to pull it down due to maintenance costs. But I haven't completed the new version yet. Cost has never been an issue because from the beginning we've been using freeware for it.
