Dude...What kind of a dumbass question is that ? You know, he lost 4 dogs, a bunch of exotic birds....not to mention everything he had worked for the past 20 years. His Daughter cut the crap out of her arm trying to get in to save the pets...she had to get something like 47 stitches total. And you want to know if the fire was set on purpose....sheeesh
Yeah, shame on me that I don't read just every single line which is posted here.
Damn, HD, your response is dumbass. Plenty of people play with fireworks etc.
But maybe the scenes of burning houses and guitars should be imagined in my dreams, that's why my DUMBASS question wouldn't be necessary, mr. "I-know-everything".
I didn't get the impression Immortal was asking if Tim set it on fire himself, but was asking if arson was involved from an outside party.
Think through the possibilities or ask questions before you make scathing, insulting remarks...no one here needs that.
OK...Maybe I jumped the gun here. Your question sounded like you were asking if Tim set the fire on purpose. It's all in the wording of the question I guess. Apparently Widowmaker read it that way at first too. This subject is a touchy one. If you were around here after it first happened, you would better understand.
Let me try again....
If I remember correctly, the fire was caused by a squirrel that chewed through some wiring in a wall.

[/ QUOTE ] As I was reading this I was about to come out with guns blazing myself. Now I see that Immortal is not from here and the wording of his post, while poor, was innocent enough.

To make it worse, Tim was out meeting relatives that were coming in for the holidays when the house went up. His daughter lived next door and she tried to get the animals out, but it was too late.
I cannot imagine losing everything like that, especially because of a squirrel.
There's room for all God's creatures - right next to the mashed potatoes
I mean, the guitars and animals are easily replaced compared to everything else - the peace of mind, for one.

Ouch This thread is depressing.. someone make a new thread dedicated to guitars in mint condition
This thread makes me sad. Seeing a nice guitar sustain damage is something a man should never have to witness. I can not even begin to imagine what it must have been like for Tim to go through all that. I guess it have been said before, but guitars are replaceable... but some of the other things he lost... I do not know what I would do. If you do not mind me asking, did some members hook him up with a guitar or something? I am thinking something like that happened based on what I have read in this thread.
