Yep but last time I was in they had a grand total of 1 USA Jackson, killer shop though. If you enjoy looking at them from 25 feet below GC San Jose usually has a few. Hell, I probably have more around the house than most of the Silicon Valley dealers combined.
Catapultam habeo. Nisi pecuniam omnem mihi dabis, ad caput tuum saxum immane mittam!
Yes, the people at Guitar Showcase are awesome and will help you out with anything you need!!!! But they only have like 4 or 5 right now and are not really too committed to carrying a lot of Jacksons at this time. Guitar Center might have a few more, but Jacksons are pretty scarce around here
Rocker Guitars in San Francisco usually has some nice Jacksons. Guitar Center sucks for USA Jacksons, Guitar Showcase will usually have 1 or 2. I don't care for the staff at Guitar Showcase. Many of them have been rude lately.

Same here. I have more lying around than the 2 closest GC stores have had in the past few years.

I lived in the area for 10 years, but that was the 80's. I don't know if Dan is still there? Dan has been with them since the beginning and is a great and knowledgeable guy. See if he is still there!

Kelly with the droopy eyes that used to work at Guitar Center is now at Showcase. Talk about never giving anyone a good deal!
About a year ago I bought a Levy's leather strap from Guitar Showcase. The list price was like $60 and they sold it to me for around $39.
So about 2 months later I go in to buy 2 more of the same strap. Girl at the counter says the cost like $60 or $70. I say, how about $39 each? She then gets very rude and says they don't discount straps. I say, uh you did just a while back. She says, no we didn't. Uh, yes do did. So I left.
Yea, that's the problem with mid size to large chain stores. The personnel rotate through them like water. It's getting tougher each year with the disappearance of the Mom and Pop stores to get a good deal. It's like you have to start all over each time you visit the stores. It's unfortunate this happens and why buying on-line has been so popular.

Gelb in Redwood City carries imports. I've been nagging them to get some Charvels, but no luck yet. Hey, they have lots of PRS's and Anderson's. Anycase, GC is as good as it gets regarding Jackson/Charvel in the south bay. The one good thing is GC lets me play the Charvels, including EVH Art Series without pressuring me to buy one. You can also check out Haight Ashbury Music. They have a shop in Sunneyvale. Last time I was in they had Jacksons. However I didn't notice if they had any USA ones.

Only good one I know of is Guitar Showcase in San Jose. They are probably the best store to visit in the area.

Guitar Showcase has a great collection on display upstairs, but they don't normally stock Jacksons. At least all the times I've been there (dozens), I've only seen a few items at the consignment shop, and I've never seen a USA Jackson in the consignment shop.
Guitar Center on Stevens Creek Blvd carries a few USAs and a handful of imports. Occassionally you'll find a used USA or Custom there. You're more likely to find Jacksons here than at GS.
Gelb does not stock Jacksons either, at least any time I've gone there. Their consignment shop usually has a MIJ Charvel or two. I bought a dead mint Model 6 from there for $225 two years ago.

I started seeing Jackson's at Gelb about 6-9 months ago. Probably a benefit of J/C being part of Fender, the main line for Gelb. Gelb now usually has 6 to 8 mix of Rhoads and Dinkys hanging above the end of the counter or above the door between the counter and the main guitar room - basically near where they keep the Gibsons. I talked to the main guy there, and they're not planning anything more than imports for now.
Thanks for all the help. I called Guitar Showcase and they didn't have any, so I didn't make the trip. The guy I talked to on the phone said they would be getting some USA Jacksons in the next month or so. He said demand for them has really picked up. Guitar Center has a San Dimas, but that's it. I was hoping someplace would have an SL2H.
