Howdy All!

I have a DXMG and was wondering something. My USA Fender Strat has a really nice neck with "hand-rolled" edges... etc.

Does Jackson make a top of the line bolt-on neck I can get? If so, where? I searched the site and couldn't come up with anything.

    Thanks for any direction!

I am sure someone more knowledgable will be here in a second, but as far as I know Jackson won't sell just necks. I tried.

Maybe an old DK-1 neck will suit you. They get the big thumbs up.

Buy a USA DK-1. They don't sell necks seperately, and they aren't Fender, so don't expect many similarities. A lot of us play Jacksons because we don't like Fender necks. That said, your best bet for the "rolled over" edges is to buy an old San Dimas/Ontario bolt-on Jackson. You can thank me later.

are you guys just talking about the fretboard wood having a tiny bevel to it? can't you just tape down the frets then sand the edges of the wood?

Can Musickraft do pointy necks now? They ARE an OEM Fender replacement manufacturer after all, and they will do Charvel-correct Strat bodies.....might be worth a try....

Thanks for the answers guys, I'll keep an eye out for anything on eBay or the like.

I really dont have any reason to change, unless I KNOW there is something better.
