Are there significant differences between the Floyd Rose/Jackson Sustainer system in the PC1 and the Sustainiac system in the DK2S? Both have seemingly similar sounding controls as described on www.jacksonguitars.com:
PC1
-Master Volume
-Master Tone
-Intensity Control
-Sustainer/Driver On/Off Switch
-Fundamental/Harmonic/Blend Switch
DK2S
-Master Volume
-Master Tone
-Intensity Control
-Active Sustainiac® On/Off Switch
-Fundamental/Harmonic/Blend Switch
Do they both use 18V (two 9V batteries in series)? Does the DK2S have a battery box carved into the back like the PC1 does? Does the DK2S have a huge electronics cavity like the PC1 does?
I've never seen EITHER of these two guitars in the stores yet, so I've never had the chance to play with a sustainer system before.
