Who is permitted to have their gear in plain view?

Who is permitted to have their gear in plain view?

By that I mean having your guitar and amps in say, the bedroom or living room for all to see.

Is your wife the kind that does not want to see it and has it all banished to the basement or are you given free will.

My 4x12 and FX rack are right next to our bedroom right next to my bed. There are three guitars hanging on the wall there as well. A classical is hanging in the livingroom next to the wall unit.

Needless to say my wife is a doll and she does not mind a bit.

Anyone else have such great freedom at home?

I have a rack of guitars and 1/2 stack in my livingroom. Music is part of my everyday life and treated as such, and my wife loves it as much as I do .

I have most of my gear - two guitar racks, a couple of basses on stands, a combo and cab - in the living room. I have another combo and cab, a bass combo, and my neglected recording rig in the bedroom.

My wife doesn't mind. She's a musician too.

the whole back of my house is a functioning project studio, but i still have a 7 piece drum set in my living room. as long as the house stays neat and clean, and there is space to move, my wife doesn't care.

I have some stuff in the bedroom but prefer to keep most stuff in the garage/rehearsal area. I have kids and they can be destructive.

I have two guitars and a pedal in my living room, with my other stuff upstairs where the bedrooms are. I keep them tucked out of the way more because I don't want anbody touching the stuff, rather than because my wife wants it that way...

I have an office where most everything is kept. Every once in a while a guitar floats into another room. My wife keeps a few guitars in her office. In our bedroom there is a wall of guitar cases.

Im a fucking slob. I got 46 guitars in just about every room of the house, guitar cables hanging off of lamp shades, guitar shipping boxes in the kitchen, on the treadmill. Hell I have one shipping box that has been sitting in the living room for about 3 weeks. Can you tell I live alone?.........

I have one guitar/case in the family room. Everything else is either in my study or in the practice space.
