Could be pao ferro or some other exotic wood.

It's at the bottom - note Daffy's leg?

            Good eyes Sir!
So now that it's documented I'd say 2.5 K USD upwards. Here is my Spitz pair:

The original Spitz guitar was seen on "Got The Time", "Bring The Noise" and "Hy Pro Glo" videos. The turtles is a replica I bought from Hawaii.

I too would be interested to buy this duck graphic RR but I haven't heard the stores name yet...

You must have x-ray vision to have spotted that.

Not sure if that was just being humorous, but I doubt a positive ID can be made from seeing "Daffy's leg" at the bottom of a pile of guitars. I think this still needs some investigation. Anybody write to Danny or the webmaster at Anthrax's website?

...that and the color of the fretboard. I'd say that's a fairly positive ID.

It looks like it has JT6 trem post inserts? Was this common, even with a custom artist guitar that wanted a real Floyd?

Sorry man, not trying to piss in anyone's cheerios, I'm just trying to interject a little bit of caution. If you guys are convinced, then fine. I'd personally look for more solid evidence. I'd hate to see someone rush into this, spend a lot of money just on the Spitz-factor alone and then get burned. Again, I may be erring on the side of caution.

While I think it's a pretty positive ID, I agree that I would like to see a better picture to document it. To me, part of the fun in seeing an artist's guitar is seeing pics of it in action. An obscure pic on a pile of leaves just doesn't do it in this case.

Still very cool. Did Danny sell off a bunch of his guitars or just a few that he wasn't attached to?

Dan gave away all of his guitars when he quit playing.

You are of course right, I wouldn´t call it evidence yet, I just pointed out what I could see between Dans legs.

I don't remember seeing that one, but here's the Donald Duck guitar with maple board that I think went to the Hard Rock Cafe.
