Re: Charvel.Carvel, Sharvel

When I'm sober it's CHarvel and when I'm wasted it's Sharvel. Damn! I said the word too many times in a row, now it's lost all meaning and they all sound wrong, lol

Wayne Charvel, in his videos on www.wayneguitars.com, pronounces it Sharvel. So I go with that.

please tell us how you got into this tiff over the correct pronunciation...I can't see how that sales tactic would ever work...but I do find it funny

I've actually had a similar pronunciation SNAFU with Schaller: Is it skaller or shaller?
"Your work is ingenius…it’s quality work….and there are simply too many notes…that’s all, just cut a few, and it’ll be perfect."

How about Kahler... I say it as collar (as in dog collar).
Imagine, being able to be magically whisked away to... Delaware. Hi... Im in... Delaware...

Kahler rhymes with Schaller which rhymes with mailer, sailor, and tailor.
