• Widow's Dime tribute Charvel!

My latest project! Muhaha!
Got the neck it's 1st clear coat. Color still drying on the body.

Specs-
*Total refinish in custom Dime Slime Green-solid color
*All black hardware including custom made BLACK diamond plate truss rod cover, rear trem cover and electronics cover.
*Dime reproduction signature on back of headstock and "Get Ya Pull" along back of neck.
*Seymour Duncan Dimebucker and single coil spaced humbucker.
*1 Vol. 1 3-way switch
*Floyd Trem (copy)
*Grover 6 in line Mini Rotomatics
*Inscripted Dimebag neck plate
*Charvel repro decal with "the" written in front and "from hell" after the logo

This will most likely take me through January as this lacquer takes a long time to cure.

I'll keep it updated though!

That's close to what I was gonna do with my Fusion. Then a voice inside of me said, "Son.. you're a guitar player, not a builder." So I took back the paint, sold the parts, and as luck would have it, I got to buy one of the CS Dweezil's.
Good luck! It's looking good.

Almost looks like one of these

Don't worry - I'll smack her if it comes to that. You do not sell guitars to buy shoes. You skimp on food to buy shoes! ~Mrs Tekky 06-03-08~

Almost being the operative word of course Why paint the neck for starters?

Looking damn good. I am almost at your stage with my Kramer build. I am just waiting on a few parts to come in so I can do the mock build. Then it's off to the races with the paint job =)

I prefer painted necks-even on bolt-ons.

Cool!! You gotta get a Little '59 for the neck, though.

Did you use Spray cans for the paint? And the Coat is it cans or liquid coat in a bottle?
