That's an easy statement to make when you're not there. It's quite possible there were more important things to save than his guitar. It's a shame that a nice guitar went to the "big guitar rack in the sky" but at least he made it out with his life.

I brought my guitars when I evacuated. However, in the wake of everything that has happened in my life, post-Katrina, the guitars seem pretty trivial.

Are you sure the guitar broke because of Katrina or could it have self destructed when it noticed that its player was wearing fishnet sleeves.
