Hello out there. Can anyone please tell me some feedback about the 3DRs and 5FXs. Kind of like a compare and contrast, hehe. Thanks alot!

3DR's are bolt on, 22 fret, reverse HS. The pickup configuration is the same for both. Hum in the bridge, a slant single in the neck. The 3DR was changed to a toothpaste logo and renamed the Predator. They run 200.00-300.00.

Someone posted about the 5fx not long ago, don't recall which post but it's basically a model 5 with a 3DR pickup config.

The 5fx is neck thru with a recessed neck pocket like a fusion. They run like 275.00-350.00
For the money, the 5fx is my choice if you can find one. I think they only were made one year, '89.
