Actually she's Black Forest! The flash makes it look WAY lighter than it is. Its about as dark a shade of green as I've seen. She looks much better with a bath and I've got one of my two replacement pups on the way, an 81. Just gotta find an 85 and she'll be slammin'!

Awesome, simply awesome!
For me personally, it was another year of bad G.A.S. (Although technically I've slowed down since 2003 and 2004 )
Here are my 2005 buys, starting with a Kramer alumi-neck DMZ 1000 model I bought in January. The best deal was a Model 1 Charvel for $25! The spendiest were the projects--Kramer SC-1 "Fantasy" guitar (that's the tele with a single slanted pu) and the "Russian Tank" graphic Warmoth/ BC Guitars.

Whats the color you used for the Warmoth? Did they do it or did you have someone else do it? I've been looking to order from them but I haven't had the cash.

Your other guitars are pretty sweety, but I'm really diggin on the Warmoth

Yep, that's the one - the trem was a big part of me getting rid of it, but also it sounded really, really bright with no real meat to the sound.

In addition, I could see that used prices for the 25ths were plumetting, and with all the rumours about increasing strathead availability, and the fact that the Charvel 'mafia' (who would play a part in keeping the value high) generally don't like them, I wanted to get rid of the guitar while I could still get back what I had into it.....
