Re: Show us your 2005 scores!

how the hell do u afford THAt many guitars??!!??

mind you i bought my three all this year....and in fact even my stack was bought this year so thats pretty good going i say - still 1100 pund with the tele being a present , so thats nearly 1500 in a year which is not bad for a penniless student In fact that could even, just maybe, be the reason i penniless...i don't know - i'm not an expert.... Here're mine:

Thanks to George (Seventh Son) for his help on this one:

And this one was the only one to be bought and sold in 2005:
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

Damn,Jani...I feel like a little kid trying to walk in his father's shoes after seeing those pics....Awesome stuff,guys.. Was a pretty rough year here...But those KV2X's really make my dangles ache....
Bon Jovi is like a frozen Coca Cola.. It's cool, it's crunchy, but when all is said and done it is still pop....

Re: Show us your 2005 scores!

Looking back, I actually sold more than I kept. I bought and kept 7, and sold 9 (well, I bought many of that 9 this year, too, but I like to focus on the fact that I sold them, to prove that I don't just keep buying guitars relentlessly!)
The way I figure it, I'm down 2 guitars!!

Here are the 7 I kept:

Fender American Deluxe Ash Fat Strat. 1-pc body, maple board, abalone dots, my kinda Strat

Ibanez JEM 7VWH. This one turned me to the dark side, AKA I-BEEN-HAD!

Ibanez RG520QS (after refin, mods) - Razor thin "Super Wizard" neck

Ibanez RG2120KKB. I've only had this for a few days; I'm really liking it!

Warmoth "Soloist". I waited too long to build this - Warmoth is an A+ outfit.

Kramer 522 S/P Bass. My first MusicYo Kramer - great bang for the buck!

Samick OM8CE. Cedar top, Rosewood back & sides, nice MIK acoustic - still want a Taylor though!

                        ===========
Here are the 9 I sold:

Jackson Archtop Soloist Pro. 2nd from left - it's the only pic I could find.

Jackson SL2H. This was too nice for me to keep - I'm afraid I'd have sanded the neck!

Charvel Model 5A. I did sand the neck on this, big improvement IMO.

Fender Highway 1 Strat. Fun axe, but needed better pickups, locking tuners, roller nut IMO, so I decided to sell 'er.

Kramer 1984 Replica. Maple body + SD Custom Custom =

Kramer Focus 1000. She went to a good home.

Jackson Dinky Reverse. KILLER neck - the best Jackson neck I've felt.

Peavey V-Type NTB. Only pic I could find - my FAVORITE headstock.

Steinberger GT Pro. I sanded this neck, too - MAJOR improvement IMO.

These aren't in the same league as some of these, but here's the 3 I managed to pickup this year. I like em!
