RR3 does have binding, read the PDF file, the picture doesn't show the binding but I'm guessing all those pics are photoshop mockups. The RR3 and KE3 both have bound necks now.

Yeah, the added binding on the RR3 & KE3 is a good thing - and along with the black hardware makes them about three times as appealing as the previous versions.

Btw, I never cared for trans blue finishes before, but damn - that trans blue RR3 with all black hardware looks great!

All these changes are definitely steps in the right direction, as many have already stated.

The fact that we even have a DK2M is awesome, but hopefully a S/S/H version will be available in the future, as I am not a big fan of the H/H configuration.

dk2m + emg's/x2n and OFR will give me a "michael romeo" type of shred axe without paying over a grand for esp m-2 standard [img]/images/graemlins/baby.gif[/img]

I am really opposite, I would like to see the DK2M with just 1 Humbucker, I don`t use any other pickups and middle pickups annoy me [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img] If I get one, I will get the middle position set up "Out Of Phase" for that psycodelic sound. Jack.

Yeah a 1 hum version of the DK2M will basically be the DK2LE we ordered 2 years ago only with black sharkies.

Yes, and I sold my DK2LE,dumb move, but a DK2M with 1 hum, would not only have black sharkies, but also have black binding on the neck and headstock. In my book, that would be off the charts [img]/images/graemlins/drool2.gif[/img] Jack.

well, I guess the last few posts mean that Jackson should produce multiple versions of the DK2M then~~ [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]


(for ppl who want the black sharkies on a DK2LE type 1 hum guitar, and who already has a DK2LE.... you can wait a bit, buy a used DK2M, and swap the necks)

In any case, while the pup configuration is not ideal for me, I am gonna get a DK2M for sure, it's very cool the way it is.

Yeah, I just hope I would be able to swap necks between the DK2 and the DK2M. That way I'll slap the DK2M neck onto a Cromson Swirl DK2 I already have to get the S/S/H configuration [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
