Oof. [img]images/icons/frown.gif[/img] Saw my dad go through that a few years ago, myself. A very scary sight when you first see them after surgery. I hope things go well for you and your Dad, Newc. -

I was wondering the same thing yesterday. Hopefully his dad is recovering. I can only imagine what he's going through, as my dad also had quadruple bypass surgery a few years ago. Come back soon, Matt! [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.Comment

Yes, my Dad had to go in on Feb 4th for quadruple bypass surgery, and I've been spending most of my time with him at the hospital. He was due to be discharged yesterday (Tuesday 18th) but he developed an infection where the urine catheter was, so they decided to keep him till that was taken care of. Maybe a coupla more days.
It was scary for a while but I knew God was on the case [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]
Anyhoo, things are finally getting back to some semblance of normal - I went back to work for a few days [img]graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
The weather around here has been another adventure on its own - I feel for Ken and Matt and Yoga in New York, and everyone else in the Northeast being buried by all that snow. That's gotta suck.
Anyways, it's good to be back.

So sorry to hear about your dad, my dad's in the same heart stuff situation right now also. It's very scary stuff. Thankfully, they do some amazing things now in heart surgery.
