• modifying Kahler 33x0

at least you could modify your Kahler 3300/3310 to a combination of Kahler and string-thru-body.

When you kick out the finetuners, hooks and the brass cover underneath, there's space for string-thru-holes.
You might get more pressure on/to? the bridge or more string vibrations to/in? the body.

Maybe anyone will try on a cheaper guitar.

Hmm. I think a import King V pro would be a great candidate for this.

Anyone else, or anyone willing to try?

Great idea.

Given the current prices that the KV pros are getting, I wouldn't fancy making this mod to one of them....

Umm. Just how high are the KV pro's goin for? Haven't seen em on the bay lately , but when I have I've seen ones with dings and normal wear for as low as $450-600, AND AS------

high and ridiculous as some member here's CSB KV PRO (import for over $1000 ($1200 I think it sold for) , even tho I have a rare KV1 BGF,NAMM/Catalog guitar, and its pricetag was $1300.

They seem to be going for around $1000. One recently had a BIN of (I think) $800 and it was considered cheap....
