Did all San Dimas Jacksons have binding over frets? The ones that had binding anyway? What about Charvels?

Mine certainly does, and I'm pretty sure all Jackson customs did....Popular is not the same as good

No. Towards the end of the SD era, they stopped doing binding over the fret ends of Jacksons.
And the vast majority of SD Charvels did not have neck binding at all.Comment

My early 85 Soloist & 1 of the Schon from 86 do but my later Soloist 86 & Schon don't.Comment

For the most part SD era guitars that have binding have "nibs" as well... but as Shredder stated, towards the end of the SD era they started doing it the way they do today...Comment
