I'm with you about GW. I was ranting about this in the crazy train thread in techniques. They transcribe not only the same artists all the time but the same damn songs! They've done crazy train twice in a little over a year and AIC "them bones" twice (in '03 and '04). Pick some other songs! Then, on tuesday I get my April issue and surprise, surprise, it's got Satch Boogie and Purple Haze. And, of course, a Nirvana song. My subscription ends March '07 and I will not be keeping my subscription unless something drastically in the next year. [img]/images/graemlins/rant.gif[/img]

yeah i ended my subscription with them too. out of the 12 mags i got, i found maybe 2 of them worth reading. the recent Randy issue and the Alexi/Zakk/Vai issue. fucking awful magazine

I think Guitar for the Practicing Musician was a better magazine. I still have all the first 2-3 years issues of that magazine. Man, those were the days.
