Sully, that's the all too well known Indonesia credit card scam. They have a boat load of stolen credit card numbers. They want you to charge them, ship the item 2 day air so by the time the card comes back as stolen, they have the goods. I replied back they are $10,000,000 each and payable by cash.

$10,000,000 each? lmao!! You should have also said $10,000,000 and one of your close relatives so I can repetidley take a crap on them. I feel this is a fair price and this product is worth it!! lol.

Edit: I forgot to add that I LOVE how they took the time to make everything sound like they are foriegn lol.

I just got a similar offer for one of my eBay items from someone in Singapore. They want me to ship it to thier "buisness store" via fedex. I don't know what to think about this one. Is this possibly a valid offer?

I got a similar email when I was selling a Jem 10th on ebay. I agreed to sell him the item if he would "Buy it Now" for $6,000 plus shipping. (my reserve was $1675) The idiot agreed and sent me the CC number.

Obviously I never did anything with it, but it's way too easy to sniff these guys out. You'd have to be a real dolt or a criminal to agree to something as stupid as this.

My question is, how can you tell for sure it's a scammer and not someone who does live in indonesia (or wherever), has poor english skills and really wants to purchase something? Is it the two day thing?

It's the way they insist on paying only by credit card. They can't go to a bank and get an international money order, they can't do paypal, only credit card. They are so stupid they ask people like me, who are obviously not a store, to sell to them on their CC, like I can do that. They just keep plugging away till they hit pay dirt. Agreeing to overpay would be another good sign. But I tell them to get stuffed.
