  • Some thoughts about being new here.

I am not really new but relativley new. I have been playing in various metal bands for about 22 years here in western Mass. I have been looked at as somewhat odd that I have owned soooo many guitars over the years. I have always had a #1 and #2 and the rest were on rotation. I look at it as money in the bank I can play and enjoy, if times are tough I can let a couple go and make it through another month. It was nice to find a bunch of like minded Jackson/Charvel lovers here. Selling the Kelly right now for a Soloist...I wouldn't know what to do if I didn't have my next guitar in mind! Charvel 7308 (TMZ 008), Charvel Pro-mod (yellow), Jackson Soloist Custom (Yellow), Jackson SL2H-V Natural, Gibson LPS DB, Gibson LPS EB, Gibson LPCC C, Charvel Model 2 (scalloped), Jackson DK2M (white), Charvel Journeyman, Fender Classic Player 60's strat, Carvin C66, Musikraft strat mutt, Warmoth Strat mutt, Fender MIM Jazz bass, Epiphone Classical, Takamine parlor. Marshall 2203, Marshall JVM 210H, Splawn Nitro, Fender Supersonic 22, Line 6 AX2 212, Marshall 4X12.

I tell people guitars are worse than drugs...and potentially more expensive.

Yes they are addicting!! I'm looking at expanding my stable right now. I have sold so much stuff over the last 10 or so years, and now I want some of it back. I pretty much kept the main gear and sold the rest.

      Back to eBay..... haha

Yeah, now that I'm 39 I look back on the ones that I let go or traded over the years, ouch! That may be a cool thread, regrets!

Re: Some thoughts about being new here.

I wish a tenner could last ME 8 days.. I've been/going through addictions, but at least this one involves having something to show for it. I can go to work knowing my own guitar and recording gear are still there when I return home. If I can purge myself of my other addiction, I'll be able to buy another nice axe shortly and not starve.

I was asked to host the Trophyboy website a couple of years ago. Not sure what happened though, haha.

I was in a short lived band called Trophyboy after I left All That Remains, we split up in 04'. Probably another band or a porn site.
