Actually, no one over there needs the drama you see on OCC to motivate them. It might be pretty boring as far as that goes. But I agree....seeing a bolt on and a neck-thru build from the ground up would be cool!

I saw an european TV documentary many years on how one person built a violin from start to finish.
I mean really from start to finish, it started when the person went to the woods to locate the tree with the proper age and thickness. then cutting raw material, curing (fast forward), and building the thing and hand making the paint with his family secret recipe...
it ends with a pro playing the piece in a concert.

<font color="aqua">actually we have a "local" network here called the "PCN" network and they have "factory tours" on all the local businesses. It's great, you get to see everything from the local luthier making a violin and guitar to the Martin guitar factory. They also even had a factory tour of where they make PEEPS!!! [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] I was hoping they'd do one of Hoshino guitar works but I'm wondering how much of a factory there really is there - [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]</font>

Hoshino has a warehouse in PA, not a factory.

I saw the Peeps thing on the Food Network. It was pretty cool and my kids really dug it. Peeps + Jackson = Sticky Fretboard!
