Hello Everyone ( Introduction )

hi, my name is Chris. I have been a drummer for 15 years. i have always played a little guitar from time to time. Recently I moved and havent had any luck finding the right band to play drums with. So enter the guitar. Now, for the past 4 months or so I have been doing nothing but playing guitar. Now, the reason I am here. When i was 15, my best friend got a charvel blk & wht crackle. I fell in love with this guitar. A few months down the road, I traded a 1965 set of ludwigs for the guitar. Heaven, the best guitar I have ever played. Then, I did what most kids did in the early 90's, turned from metal to grunge. Then it wasnt so cool. So I traded it for a mexican strat and a Charvel snakeskin bass. So now here i am. Trying to learn as much as I can about the Charvel and Jackson lines of guitars. I am planning on buying a new guitar for myself when i turn 30 in may.I want to find another guitar that played as nice as that one did. I have been doing alot of reading and the knowledge here has helped me alot. I still cant choose between a us or jap model, but may is a few months away.

Welcome to the board. I lean heavily towards US models, but the Japanese ones are nice as well.

Welcome! I would recommend the US line as well, but you can't really go wrong either way.
