Re: Another Newbie

Welcome to the JCF,and be advised that statistically your percentage of Jacksons and/or Charvels in your collection is apt to rise significantly if you hang out here a lot.

You can get help here on everything from tech stuff to how to justify the extra guitars to your woman! This will make you a happier and better-adjusted guitar addict!

No shit...wife is threatening to cancel the ISP if I buy one more Jackson or Charvel. Since being on here I've owned two Rhoads and a DX10D in the past in addition to the three Jackson and Charvels I currently have now. I do have another Jackson on the way to boot. I'm not sure that's possible unless I give up sleep

I got my pics loaded on Photobucket, but they look awful. I'm gonna borrow another camera and try again, and maybe do smaller groups instead of all of them at once. However, here is a list of what I have:

1990 Ibanez RG550 DY with pink Jem pickups
1998 Ibanez UV777
Early 1990's Ibanez USA Custom w/ Pile of Skulls graphic
1999 Ibanez RG7621 with Seymour Duncan Invader in the bridge
Late 1980's Charvel Legacy
1992 Jackson Rhoads EX
1992 ESP MII custom (like KH-2 but before that model came out)
199? ESP George Lynch Skulls & Snakes graphic (strat head)
Late 80's early 90's B.C. Rich Gunslinger w/hot rod flames
1978 Fender Strat (1st guitar)
1991 Fender Prodigy (2nd guitar)
I also have a frankenstein super strat made out of a bunch of mismatched parts.

Hopefully in the next few days I'll have pics to go with them...

Oops, I meant to say the Charvel is a Legend, not a Legacy. I must have had G&L on the brain or something

What no Gibsons! Just kidding! Welcome! I hear you on the wrist and hand problems. I have Carpal tunnel problems and can't play more than a few minutes before my fretting hand goes numb. I hope to find a reliable doctor to fix it. It flared up in 1993, but seemed to have gone away, but now it's back big time.

Re: Another Newbie

I've been dealing with mine since 1994. People have been trying to talk me into having surgery done, but I've heard more stories of surgery making things worse than making them better. It certainly makes those slim Ibanez speed necks a pain to play. Hopefully we can both get back on track soon
