Re: 1985 Jackson Rhodes vs New ones

So what is a fair price or what might be a fair offer I do want one but I like to get a fair price so If I need to sell it (to buy another must have) I like to at least make the coin back

Well, if you want to get technical, they weren't actually built in San Dimas.

i dunno, you'd have to give us more details about the guitar, or perhaps some pics. But I cant imagine paying 1850 for one unless its a totally unique custom order type of guitar, like a rear-loaded, 24 fretter. something of that nature.

but if its just a stanard, 22fret, 2 hum with pickguard rhoads with a stanard finish, then I wouldnt pay more than 1200-1400 on a good day!

is it an ebay auction? im pretty sure its allowed as long as you're not promoting something that you're selling

just to be safe, just PM it to me

Its probably not, LOL! (They have a lot of rules here what I have lost track of. Just post a pic if you can (if the link has pics on line, then it is easy to just post the properties from the pic (right click) and then insert into the "image" helper).

Be sure to ask if it's a refin. That's just stupid clean for an '85.
