Close up pics of Randys guitar

Here is a link to a thread with pictures of RR's Guitar. Also, I believe it would be the 1st Jackson guitar (RR 0000 (Mrs. Rhoads). some say it is just a mock up, but after looking at the enlays and pics of Randy on stage, I believe it to be the real deal.

cool display! I've never noticed the shape of the headstock before - quite a bit different to the current shape.

Cool pics... I always feel sad when I see his guitars on display. I still have a poster of him playing that guitar.

In one of the videos I have of Randy his mom shows a notebook of music Randy had written then turned to the last page he was writting on just before he died.

Would be cool to have someone play it just to see what he was upto that last day...

Not a mockup, that´s the display when Randy was honored last year (Can´t remember whether it was Hall of Fame or A hollywood star..) [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

That was after the Walk Of Fame thing - some College did a display or something.

It's truly sad that his own family didn't know what guitars he used.

It was at Cal St. Northridge.

It is where i of the 2 RR music scholarships are.

Ucla is the other one. That is where Mrs Rhoads received her music degree.

I'm gonna guess that it was on the back like all the other Rhoads guitars made since. What I really want to know is what all that tape is on there for.

I would think it was there to keep from scratching the guitar up. Randy always wore studs and all sorts of metal things on his stage outfits.

+1 Stjames. Everyone on that thread was in agreement that the tape was to protect the body. I saw allot of pictures with randy on stage with that guitar and he had tons of chains around his waist(spelling?). Waist looks funny. I'm probably just fallen asleeeeeeee p. lol

That was a nice exhibit. I happened to be in the LA area at the time and stopped by to see it. It was difficult to take good photos through the glass, but I took a few. I don't think they are much different that what others have posted so I never posted them.
