Do we have to get custom guitar quotes or make custom orders through one of the designated Custom Shop dealers or can it be done through any Authorized dealer?

All authorized dealers are authorized to place Custom Shop orders....I think? I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

[/ QUOTE ]Not quite, Newc. Only authorized Jackson Custom Shop dealers can place Custom Shop orders. There's quite a few Jackson dealers here in Houston but Fuller's Vintage Guitar is the only authorized Custom Shop dealer so far. Fuller's has some awesome Custom Shop pieces as well as USA Selects and Charvels but their prices are too high! "The BLUES is the tonic for what ails ya."

Re: Custom Quote/Order question
Thanks guys, I was just confused because on the website it says to take your quote to an "Authorized Dealer" but in a post in the Ask Jackson forum Mr. John said mentioned going through the "Authorized Custom Shop Dealer"....
My original thinking was that the "Custom Shop Dealers" are the ones that can sell those crazy show off guitars shown on the site or at one of the trade shows. So to sum up, if I want to get a custom guitar built I DO need to go to one of the "Custom Shop dealers"
thanks again all

Re: Custom Quote/Order question
I don't think thats true Shredder, I remember awhile back I went to vwall for a custom but at the time he wasn't authorized (he is now) he was however doing USA Selects and USA limited batches. So clearly there is some difference.
