• How did it all started? (possible noob ques)

Anyone knows what started off some of Jackson's most famous models?

I know the RR model is started by Randy Rhoads, PC by Phil Collen and the Kelly was designed by an aussie by the same name? (not sure bout this one)

so whats the story behind the warrior, KV, roswell rhoads, death angel, demon?

Death Angel was for Rob Cavestany(sp?).

King V was originally Double Rhoads named for Robbin "King" Crosby.

Didn´t the Warrior start out as a showpiece for NAMM? I don´t think it was artist-designed.

I personally designed the soloist, dinky, and warrior.

I believe the Warrior was in-house and is comprised of the basic Jackson headstock shape arrayed at different angles and depths at the "corners".

From what I remember, Robbin saw a double Rhoads in the factory which had been made for someone else and loved it - the rest, as Stuka says is history....

You are correct sir!..DING DING DING DING!!!...Buy this man a beer!

The Warrior was designed by a former Jackson R&D guy named Mikey Wright, who ironically was let go from Jackson less than a year later.

I have a question though....which came first?...The Jackson Demon, or the Ibanez Maxxas?

Every time I see the Warror, I keep thinking of this one guitar Rick Derringer used to play.

Haha! Inspired by the BC Rich Stealth (some say!)
Rick Derringer designed the Stealth in the late 70's but his prototype didn't appear until the early 80's

Good eye!

I don't think you mean the maxxas - that was a semi hollow radius type guitar...

Also, wasn't there some interesting story about why Mickey Wright was 'let go'?
