No, thats my only battle axe. My other guitars are all shiny and pretty, and thats why I don't like them!

        Hey Chuck:

Where do you purchase your pickguards? I'm already conteplating swapping the Dimebucker in my GMW Chravel Strathead copy for a Duncan Invader and may also swap out the lil 59 for maybe a hotrail. Anyway, where do you purchase your pickguards? Warmoth? GMW?

Hmmm... Chuck, maybe you should open up your own guitar shop and start selling Dick-o-casters just like yours! BTW, I'd personally go with either black pearloid or red tortoise for the pickguard.
I seriously think I need a body like that on my next guitar, with or without pickguard!!

Econ, the last couple came from GMW, but I'll use Warmoth for the next one.

The Dick-O-Caster aging process is quite time consuming. You're looking at ten years to get that finish like on mine. I figure I'll probably to build about two before I'm dead, so get your order in now!

BTW, no gay pearloid pickguards for me, thanks!

Ok, then I vote just regular black guards then. Isn't there someway you can speed up the aging process? You know, some kind of relicing thing that Fender does? I don't think I can wait 10 years.

                    Re: Hey Chuckracer... guitar question

That finish is a carful blend of years of dirt, sweat, body oils, and yes indeed, tung oil.

It's a 10 year old Alder body (I think it's a Warmoth) that never had a finish on it, so it has had ten years of grime and abuse worn into it. About a year ago I cleaned it up some with a scotchbrite pad and lemon oil and tung oiled it for the first time.
You should see it close up. It rivals SRV's old strat for "Most Player Wear"!

Jamil, there is a big mirror on the wall on my side of the "Stage". I was trying all night not to break it with the headstock!

I think Chuck forgot to mention you need to put the guitar through his patented stone buffing process as shown in the pic he posted.

Forget the gear! Check out Chuck! Man, that pic looks like one of those "Guess what's wrong with this picture"....uh....picture. Heh.

From the Word-esque double chin trying to hide behind woefully short "long hair" .... to the freakishly hairy arms....except for just above the elbow on north!

Check that that huge gross vein on his left arm!
