Hey I'm Dave, and I'll humbly introduce myself as a newbie. Probably the most notable thing about me is that I'm one of the two co-webmasters at RebBeach.com. So that's fun. I've been playing for almost thirty years, but I just acquired my first Jackson - custom shop bolt-on strat #1599 - not a bad way to start, huh? I live in central Maryland, and I have a steady weekend gig. I just broke in my Jackson last night playing in front of 485 people. She played beutifully, the tone was amazing, and I feel lucky to have her. So anyway, hi everybody, let's chat.

ahh cool i was watching the whitesnake hammersmith show on DVD last night(i think it was hammersmith)and Reb was tight as fk(as was the band)great sound(mind you coverdale is looking like alice cooper these days!)good to see you here

Being new and all, I've been reading around on here a bit the last few days - you guys are hillarious. Reb is doing well, thanks for asking. He has been song writing all winter, since he came off the VH1 Metal Mania tour, and will soon gear up to head out with Whitesnake again in May. They have a bunch of big festivals lined up in Europe this summer, so they will tour around there for a good bit. Hopefully they will make it to the States in the fall. Funny thing about that Hammersmith concert DVD, Reb said that Marco (bass) was showing off so much for the cameras that it was distracting him, and pissing him off. He played a great concert though - you're right, that whole band is very tight - a great group of professionals.

This is a cool board,your gonna dig it. I almost forgot how much fun it is here compared to other boards.

I meet Reb back in the day, on their tour for the first album. He's one of the most geniune,warmest,ego free guys out there. He took ten minutes out of signing to show me a couple of tricks that just messed with my head. Were you take the whammy bar with your left hand,Then with your pick tap any string and while at the same time move the bar around! You can make all sorts of laser,phaser,or warble effects. What you can come up with, is just limited to your imagination..

lol yeahh i thought the same!he looked a prick in the cowboy hat giving it large every time he could,mind you i expect most of us would do the same given the chance!I have been on a bit of a Reb trip this year with the whitsnake DVD and his instructional Vid i got for chrismas [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

you have to upload ur photo onto something like www.photbucket.com, then copy the url for the picture. when u add a post click edit, then the image button, then paste the url into the bar that comes up, and u'll have a lurly picture for us all to gorp at [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
