I prefer using the telephone. I know it's old fashioned, but to talk with the mouth seems to be becoming a lost art.
My goal in life is to be the kind of asshole my wife thinks I am.

mIRC is not the "real thing".

      IRC is internet relay chat.
mIRC is just another client to connect to IRC. Theres hundreds out there.

      backpack.webmaster.com Port 7000
Is the server address to use when connecting with your cleint. If not try irc.webmaster.com same port.

Actually, IRC originated from telnet clients.

There were several unix clients long before mIRC even came to bay.

And they almost all (except telnet) supported multiple chat channels.

You're welcome for the info bro.
              Cheers.
