What do you think of the new and improved JCF?

The thing I really miss already is how a thread with new posts used to have the NUMBER of new posts written in red right after the thread title. That was very helpful to me as you knew exactly where to look in the thread for the new posts. It also took you to the page of the thread with unread posts instead of making you start at the beginning.

Here's something I haven't figured out: I know how to choose the number of posts per page within a thread, but how do you set the number of threads per page displayed in a forum?

Also, Why are the user names so HUGE? There's so much stuff displayed that I can only fit maybe 3 posts on the screen at once. Even a one word post takes up a bunch of space.

I like the new forum software (vBulletin is a great choice)... except that my old avatar pic is now lost in the old forum, since I don't have a backup of it.

Dear mods, is there a way to rescue my old avatar?

I agree with the above post. One of the coolest things about the old system was the RED numbers out beside the topics telling you how many new posts there was in the thread. That was the GREATEST thing I've seen on any message board to date. :/

I also really liked being able to click on "all" so I could have the browser load the entire thread instead of having to click through all the pages one at a time.

Those two things, along with the people here, made this the best online forum.

It think we need to salvage the graemlins from the old forum though. These ones just don't have the same attitude. The animated laughing one we had rocked!

But you don't need the red numbers.
If there are new posts this button will appear: . If you klick on it you will directed to the first new post since your last visit. Very comfortable in my opinion

I think that icon means that you have posted to particular threqad

damn, I was wrong in my previous post but I can't edit it, I tried many times but it causes the browser to lock down.
