Rent a mini-storage for while you're gone and sticfk your geetars in there til you return. Your climate's pretty mild there other than humidity, right? Just get some silica gel packs and throw them in the cases/bags/boxes, whatever they're in.

Then get an eyepatch, cruise the bars, and tell the young chickies you're a direct descendant of Eric the Red. If they look blank, tell 'em you're a Viking by blood, they'll dig that! Be sure to buy some condoms though, Wal-mart's the cheapest. Lots of girls out there are looking for the father figure, get in on that!

Yeah, it'll work! and you can make that shyness work for you too! When you blush, they'll think that's cute. Tell her you play guitar, that's always an icebreaker. Ask her what's her favorite song. If you know it, that's even better, play it for her. I am very shy, but have had some great girlfriends who approached me because they liked my guitar playing. Since they came to me, that eased the shyness 90%; if you can already tell she's interested, the fear of rejection fades away.

Just go out, not looking to score, but just to people-watch. When you're nonchalant about it, that's when good shit happens.

Well, I'm over being sorry. And I don't do people-watch. I get right to it and make friends or enemies, they just turn into friends a little later. Here's my problem. I made my match for life and she died. I am still shell shocked, and it's been almost 20 years. I am quite happy charming women and letting them flirt with me as I just "be me". They like me and I like them and that's as far as it goes. It's like "Safe and Sane Fireworks" with no match. And they can't be con-fused. Pun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
