Ladies and gentlemen (ha!), welcome to the first annual Matt's Music/JCF raffle!
Grand prize - A custom made Jackson display case with a locking plexi glass door, padded black velvet interior, aluminum diamond plate sides and embroidered Jackson logo. The case can be easily hung on a wall with the hooks that are attached to the back. This prize also includes a box (10 sets) of Daddario EXL or GHS Boomer electric strings in the gauge of the winners choice. Sorry, the guitar is not included.
2nd prize - Jackson padded electric guitar gigbag, a custom leather Jackson wallet and one box (10 sets) of Daddario EXL or GHS Boomer electric strings in the winners gauge of choice.
3rd, 4th and 5th prizes - Custom Jackson leather wallet and Jackson T shirt (XL).
Raffle tickets are $10.00 each, tickets will be sold from now until 5/5/06 at midnight. Tickets can be purchased via Paypal (preferred), credit card over the phone and checks through the mail. Tickets will not be sold without full payment up front. Once a ticket is purchased an entry number will be issued and the winning numbers will be drawn on 5/6/06. The winning tickets will be drawn by Kevin Maynard, admins and employees of mine are exempt. All funds generated will be turned over to NAMI (national alliance of the mentally ill) when I participate in a 3 mile walk in memory of my nephew Geoff in Boston to raise awareness of mental illness on Saturday morning 5/6/06.
I'm running this raffle to raise money for NAMI, not to cause myself a headache, so no substitutions to the prizes will be offered. If the XL shirts are too big for you, or if you don't want Daddario/GHS strings, please don't enter.
Shipping inside the continental US is on me, if you're overseas you can still enter but you will be responsible for all shipping charges.

NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the largest education, support and advocacy organization that serves the needs of all those who’s lives are touched by these illnesses. This includes persons with mental illness, their families, friends, employers, the law enforcement community and policy makers. The NAMI organization is composed of approximately 1100 local affiliates, 50 state offices and a national office.
The goals of the NAMIWalks program are: to fight the stigma that surrounds mental illness, to build awareness of the fact that the mental health system in this country needs to be improved and to raise funds for NAMI so that they can continue their mission.
NAMI is a 501(c)3 charity and any donation you make to support my participation in this event is tax deductible. NAMI has been rated by Worth magazine as among the top 100 charities "most likely to save the world" and has been given an "A+" rating by The American Institute of Philanthropy for efficient and effective use of charitable dollars. NAMI has also been given 4 out of 4 stars by The Charity Navigator for short-term spending practices and long-term sustainability.
