  • Introducing my newest creation, the "DK2H"!

Just finished her up! What do ya think?

How I got her... pretty boring if you ask me...

Lining up and drilling the new chrome metal pickup rings... I was uneasy doing this at first, but they came out perfect with a bit of patience...

    Wiring finished up...

Good shot of the MOP inlays...

    'Nother good inlay shot...

    New Floyd allen holder installed...

And last but not least, a shot just for Ron.

Now, Im not usually a fan of chrome hardware... matter of fact, this is my first guitar with it. But I thought it would go really well with the scheme of this guitar, and I definItEly think it was a good choice! I would have gone with an OFR in a second, but they just dont fit the trem cavity good and it doesent look "right". Overall Im real happy with it, plays like a DREAM and screams like a mo'fo'!

    Next!

    That last pic!

    Nice homage!

    Looks great, Rob!

Even cooler that you did the work yourself; I wouldn't have been able to do any of that!

so you're a doctor then? Wouldn't it be easier using a straight edge instead?

that came out great. And the last pic is hilarious!!

Shame you don't have real holes in it for convenient Skittle storage though.
      Hail yesterday

                    Nice work!

Y'know, I am not normally a big fan of pickup rings, but I have to admit that guitar looks much better with the rings. Same goes for the chrome.

You really gave it a high end look with those mods. Nice work!
