Can't wait to see the pics!
But it's also possible to put a 24 fret neck onto rr3/rx10d. I saw it in one thread here with a lot of pics. he had to reshape the body a bit and remove the neck humbucker though, but at the end it looked awsome...dk2 neck on rx10d body with one hum!

It was alot easier to modify the neck than rout, fill, and repaint the body. And to bat, it fits perfect! Im probably going to convert the DKMG neck too, just for the hell of it. Couple hours of work was well worth it, and the heel fits better than a factoy heel to boot.
Heres a couple teaser shots from last night...
The point of no return! AHHHH!!!
And this is right after I finished fully reshaping the heel by hand. A few test fits later and final finishing, its was done.
Now keep in mind, Im not a luthier... as a matter of fact, this is my first venture ever into woodworking (except some home carpentry). This was all done with basic hand tools... Chop saw, a selection of files, a hacksaw, and alot of patience. Ive got about 3 hours into this project so far, not bad all things considered.Last edited by RobRR; 05-21-2006, 04:52 PM.Imagine, being able to be magically whisked away to... Delaware. Hi... I know I said I wouldnt post updates, but I havent got the whole article written up yet... so heres a test piece of flame sitting on the body. This is the best matching I could do. Now to get to work on the headstock!
