Serial Number Guides

I've done a few searches for serial number info and there's always a lot of posts with people asking for help with identifying what they have or may be buying (including myself ) Is there a guide anywhere that could be put up as a sticky? I've seen posts with the Import Jacksons from the 90's where there are 6 digit serials and 7 digit etc and think it would be good if someone has got all the info to share it.
I guess this is where loads of you tell me there already is one
