I checked my RR1, and it has the slightly angled headstock edge like you describe on your Pro. Plus, the neck pickup is very close to the fretboard on my RR1 just like on your Pro. I'll bet that if you compare a Pro and USA of the same year, they will be extremely close. I would like to see a comparo of a Soloist Pro, and USA soloist of the same year too. My old Soloist Pro was exceptionally well made.
See zeegs! This is good info. I can't make money on it but it's cool nonetheless. Thanks man!
Yeah, i'd love to see a Soloist comparison.

Thanx guys, yeah it is a very nice guitar for shure. Really have to get used to setting up guitars with floyds, but that's a fun experience too. If I keep it I am probably put some DiMarzio's in it.

Could anybody give me some tips on how to put a set of new strings on a floyded guitar, I put on a new set but everytime I increase the tension on one string it also pulls the other ones out of tune, this goes on and on till you pull the floyd out ogf position....

There's one golden rule to follow when tuning a floyd (not sure if it's in those guides, cause I didn't read them) - ALWAYS tune all strings UP to desired pitch.

Same rule as when tuning anything. Always tune UP to pitch.

I succeeded, there were only 3 springs left in the back though (room for 5), I had to set the Floyd pretty tight to keep in tune without lifting upwards, but it works now.

Still not happy with the EMG's though but I already knew that from various other axes I had in the past.
