    hi fran, welcome!

if the serial number is RR1474, it's not an RR1, it's either a rhoads student or a rhoads custom. it's hard to tell without a picture, or a link to the ebay auction. can you post a picture? if the inlays on the fretboards are dots, and if the fretboard doesn't have binding, it's most likely a rhoads student. if it has sharkfin inlays and binding around the fretboard and headstock, it's most likely a rhoads custom.

    i hope that helps!

Welcome, Fran! Here are some links that should help you with your Kahler:

(2300 Series should be what you are looking for here)

Fran - There were 2 models of the original production RR, a Student (rosewood fretboard, no binding, dot inlays) and a Custom (ebony fretboard, neck & headstock binding, and sharkfin inlays). That appears to be a Rhoads Custom.

Hey, very nice guitar! The pickups could be made by Jackson made, but even if jackson made, they are pretty good (not as good as seymore duncan or dimarzio, but still good). If you can afford the guitar and like the body shape, I would recommend getting it.

Kalhers are not that hard to use, the only problem is that kalhers have a different feel compared to Floyd Rose tremolos, which are what they are compared to. In my opinion, alot of people do not like kalhers because they do not have experience with kalhers and think that kalhers do not perform properly. I personally think that kalhers are not quite as good as floyd rose tremolos, but still work fine. Kalhers can be very stable for using alternate tunings (like tuning the guitar down to C#) when compared to the floyd rose, and kalhers are very easy to adjust because you can change individual string height very easily.

I understand that you are using a translator program and I tried not to use slang (my spanish is not that good).

                  I hope this helps.

                  Cheers.

                        Thanks,to have helped much.

I have another RR1 the USA that already will send photos, has seymour, but I want to put EMG to them 81 and 89. Change pickups J-50 and J-80 by seymour to San Dimas?

Very nice score, sir!?? You talk about to which it has cost to me? It is much? that value has this guitar?

The urethane. It is better or worse than the nitrocellulose one?

                          Thanks
