No problem. I feel previliged to have gone. I don't get to go to NAMM, so this was really neat. If you get one in your area, you have to go. Cancel any other plans you may have!
It was really neat with Mike Shannon and Tim Wilson talking about the old days, Randy Rhoads, Warren D., hand sketches of prototype guitars, all the different tasks they have had to do, and how the shop has improved over the years.

I forgot to mention that they brought samples of guitars completed in various stages. They passed around some samples. I held a Eldred flames Charvel in my hands. It was at the stage it would be sent for wet sanding and polishing. I couldn't fit it under my shirt
Did you know the fret wire is pre-cut and radiused for each location, 1-24 frets. The fret wire ends are pre-polished too to reduce the amount of filing after they are pressed in.

Yes, awesome presentation! I had to leave right after it was over and couldn't stick around for the drawing. I did get to meet Mike and Tim though. Super cool dudes. We congregated outside right before the show and discussed our respective cities' smoking ordinances.

Yeah, in California there aren't too many places you can smoke....but that's a good thing!
