  • Posting Dealer Prices???????

OK, their seams to be a little confusion over pricing real customer prices. So, I figured I would ask the Mods. Mods, can we post prices if they are already posted on a sales site with real customer out the door prices, not MAP? I would think it is fine since it is already on a public site and not MAP-right? Thanks-Jack.

wellllllll.... i would guess that dealers that post sub-MAP pricing are asking for trouble. personally, i like the policy that we have in place. granted, we're not liable for someone being caught doing that, but i think it's a slippery slope.

without a real example, it's hard to say, though.

Yes, a slippery slope indead Sully. I myself, won`t post the prices anymore, regardless if they are posted Sub-MAP again just er on the side of caution and respect for the dealers With that been said, a clarification in the know would help myself and others wondering if it is kosher or not. Thanks-Jack.

Yo, Jack, what part of "Do them a favor and don't post those prices on internet forums; it can be viewed as MAP violation, and it can hurt the dealer you're trying to buy from." blah blah blah?

        Just playing it safe, bro!
