becasue they´re not as heavy as cases and offer significant protection for some while adding onto that the portability that many need.

Case in point: Ever tried to ride your bike 15 miles to rehearsal with 2 hardshell cases on your back?

          Gigbags are practical...

Benoa, let me know if the Kelly even fits; I was looking at one for my Star.

This one at AMS is supposed to be for the Kelly / V / Rhoads and Warrior:

This Jackson guitar case provides valuable protection for your guitar at an affordable price. Jackson's cases are rugged and designed to snugly fit the unique body style of your guitar. Accomodates Jackson guitars with a 25.5” scale length.

Well, if it fits a Kelly, it should fit a Star, eh?

BUT! That price is more than I paid for my last Jackson HSC!

Hardcases for RR/KE/WR are bitch even driving a car... Way too bulky.
I own a Deluxe gigbag it is very quality bag with pad under the headstock, protective patch on a liner at the bridge area and other attention to the details.
                        Because I don't say it
                        Doesn't mean I ain't thinking it

$60 seems a little steep to me for a gigbag.
Then again I prefer HSC for my guitars.
I do have to agree that if riding bike to practice or gig, the gigbag is the way to go, whether its 15 blocks or 15 miles.

The price is mainly what I was thinking of too. The only protection a bag offers is against minor scratches. But if it's the bike issue I guess I can see it (if it's your only guitar).

that's actually cheap compared to what we pay in the uk.
