  • KING V San Dimas questions-whats a fair price?

Ive got a chance to buy a 1985 king v san dimas jackson(custom shop) but i really dont know if its legit. Are these supposed to have the serial # stamped in the fretboard? It comes with original case and owner says its all original in great shape etc but he wants 850.Is that too cheap to be real or is it the going rate?I know one thing ,it has a butt ugly paint job-like someone threw multi color paint splotches on it.Like some abstract art work.Kind of a shame really but its the original paint apparently and the owner is original too.Its a neck thru as well.

If it really is san dimas serial number ( you can find this out using the serial # chart on the Jackson website ) & really is in great shape, then that sounds like a very reasonable (if not great) deal. Is the paint original? What's ugly to you might be quite collectible & desirable for others, as long as it's original.

    pics?
