Hope this is in the right section. didnt know where else to put this. My friend has a Jackson neckplate that has serial # 88620. It says San Dimas and has the old Charvel address. Is this a new neckplate? I thought all the older ones had 4 digit numbers on them?

The LTD '88 used numbers like that, but I believe they topped out at around 500. I have 88232."Got a crazy feeling I don't understand,

I have one and it is a strathead. I bought it on ebay a few years ago. At the time it was discused on the JCF and CC. I was told the plates above 500were for promotions, gifts endorsees etc. Maybe John, the Marketing guy could shed some light on thisIt's not a competition, it's a communityComment
