And now for yet ANOTHER new project!

So heres the next project on the agenda! I cant stop, Im a building machine! :ROTF: Each project gets more and more in depth with the amount of work needed. The project after this is already in the planning stages, but wont be finalized until this is complete.

Anyway, as I said in my other thread, most here arent going to like this color scheme (maybe except for Budman )... and I can accept that. No one Ive showed the concept has really liked it, but thats cool... Anyway, here is exactly what the finished product will look like.



And the parts Ive got to work with so far:



Stats:
-Charvel Avenger body
-Charvel Spectrum maple/maple neck, black binding to be added
-Custom Duncan Iommi/Diablo pickup wound by MJ
-Custom Duncan single coil (not ordered yet, will match the Iommi/Diablo)
-OFR, R2 nut

The body is in rough shape, as is the neck. Ill be doing all wood, finishing and fretwork myself.

Your probably asking youself: "Why the hell hot pink? Are you gay?!" Well... I dont know why I chose hot pink. During generator mockup, I accidentally set the RGB on this, and it fit like a glove. And NO, Im not gay.

Im kinda building this in the style of the 80's... Back then, a hot pink Rhoads would be acceptable... So thats why Im doing it... besides I think it looks great and will be very unique!

So whaddya think?

I voted i like it, but i regret it now . It's the finish color I don't like. Otherwise it looks great! I'd just only go with slanted neck pickup ot, bridge.

It's a really cool project for sure. I'd go for a white finish and buy a DK2LE to match.

I don't like it for two reasons;

1-) The color

2-)H- s configuration seems a bit odd to me on RR's and Kv's. With a slanted bridge hum and a regular single it's even worse.

to add what I like about it;

1-)Maple fingerboard
2-)Black binding + black bevels
3-)Reverse headstock and the logo
4-)1 volume and no tone knob

I actually don't like the maple with the hot pink, it just seems to "wash" out the color. Great friggin color though, the louder the better!
