Hey man, nice gear. How does the voodoo valve preamp sound with that poweramp?

I use an ADA MP-1 with the same peavey poweramp and i haven't been too keen on the results (sounds too fizzy)

And pagemalicious, regarding your question, mine sounds very good. On very low volume (say at 1), it could sound a little fizzy but when you go higher, no fizziness whatsoever. It sounds very good.
It has a feature called variac and when you up it, sound becomes meatier. On lower settings you're more likely to get a bit fizzy.
But it has one limitation though (the voodu that is). If you set variac high and have your high freq equalisation levels high as well, you can hear a sudden momentary noise (like a crack) out of the cabinet which could make you jump. So the trick is to lower some of those settings a bit.
