    That may be true with some guitars, but still.......if the guitar is going to have a string retainer anyway, I can't see a purpose in having a tilt-back headstock. Other than maybe economizing production for like guitars only differing in bridge/nut specs.

    Exactly. Maybe I wasn't clear, but I was talking about my Axis' headstock design in a totally positive sense.
