Heheh... I'm such a dork. I guess I was thinking about that FR Quickloader or whatever it's called. LOL

Yeah, I was having the PG in chrome solely for the fact that it would match Stuart's Gibson V, which has a chrome one. Very "metal" looking, ya know. I actually like the PG-less look a lot more, especially on guitars with just the one pup. I also have an idea for a custom, smaller PG, and will be doing up a little Photoshop job of that soon.

That f'n rocks Annah! Are you playing anywhere Fri 8/19? I'll be getting into Arlington early Friday afternoon for the Ride for Dime gig, I know we're meeting up with everyone involved (bands/coordinators) for dinner but there are no specific plans for Friday night.
Transitioning from Retired Musician from cover bands to a Full time vocalist/frontman/guitarist in an original and covers band....it's been a while and this should get NASTY!

Don't worry - I'll smack her if it comes to that. You do not sell guitars to buy shoes. You skimp on food to buy shoes! ~Mrs Tekky 06-03-08~

Wow! That's gonna be one hot guitar, Annah! (envy sinking in) Also, next time I string up my one of my FR equipped guitars, I'm gonna try it your way. Sounds like it would provide even more tuning stability.
My future band shall be known as "One Samich Short Of A Picnic"!

I do it that way too and find it much quicker and easier changing strings too.
Just saw it in a pic one time and tried it. You wouldn't think it'd matter much but it does save time IMO.

Wow, congrats Annah! I like the specs on your guitar a lot but have one question. I would think that an L-500xl pickup would be *extremely trebly* without a tone control to tame it a little bit. I had a 500xl on one of my old Soloists and thought it was quite bright even with a tone control in the signal path.

Otherwise, I love the idea of the mirrored sharkies. Wow.
