This started off as a regular PC3.
I loved the neck on my PC1 so much that I went on the hunt for a PC1 neck to put on my PC3.
After many months of searching, I got one from Brian (Superfly) and it became this...
Still not a drastic change, but it felt a million time better.
After looking at if for a while I decided it needed something else.
All the brushed chrome just didn't look right.
So I went black. Thanks Chuk (Drake S.) for the hardware swap.
Here she is.
2001 PC3 body
1997 PC1 neck
DiMarzio Super 3, DiMarzio HS2 and the stock Duncan Designed SC101.
New style JT-580LP with the new hardend base plate.
Jackson tuners
Schaller R42 nut... still need to find a black OFR R3 nut as the Schaller is just a hair skinnier, but it still works great.
I'm still deciding on which sustainer to put into it. The Fernandez FSK-401 is similar in function and layout to the stock Jackson sustainer in a PC1 but the Sustainiac unit is cheaper.
Decisions... decisions...
Anyway... enjoy!
