Well the journey that started on 11/23/2004 has finally ended. After 21 months of waiting, I finally found something on my doorstep Wed evening.
All mahogany body, 3 piece mahogany neck, binding over the 25 frets, the bevels are painted to match the red pearloid binding, one EMG 85 in 18v configuration, there is pretty much nothing standard about my new arrival.
Plays sweet, though there are a few minor things that really don't bother me. The custom neck profile and backshape is pretty much dead-on to what I ordered. The guitar does look much nicer than any pictures I tried to take.
I'm at home sick with the flu... yes, in the middle of the summer, when I always seem to get it. I can stand in shorts and a shirt in the middle of the winter at 40 degrees for hours on end and be fine, but catch all of my colds when it's the hottest. Go figure. Anyways, these are the best pictures you'll get for a while.
Oh, the 18v battery compartment is perfect and I love how the battery access is. Enjoy the pr0n!
